Despite taking so long, the whole day was relatively stress free despite having to get up at 3am on very little sleep. Self-transferring at Bali was a little nerve wracking but I got through it! I am so sure I saw a pod of something in the water as we were descending - maybe whale sharks or manta rays?! Who knows.
It’s very hot and sunny so no surprises there and the hotel/hostel is so stunning. I made it up to the rooftop bar with my new roommates in time for sunset.
Now for sleep because I’m starting to see shit and I want to be well rested for my pool day tomorrow x
Doing all of my final errands before I head off on Friday! I bought my insurance which was quite expensive but I’m in a weird zone where I can’t go through a UK insurance company as I haven’t lived there in years and I’m not an Australian citizen so it muddies the water. I found a reputable one that covers people on visas and people from a country with a reciprocal health agreement with Australia (me!!). I also bought scooter cover as I did spent a chunk of my time in Bali last time on the back of European boys’ scooters and who is to say that won’t happen again hehe.
I’ve also had a lash lift and brow lamination today - currently looking like Mr Bean lol but it’ll settle in and look more human in the next couple of days. I’ve also had my nails done then tomorrow spray tan and Thursday a wee hair trim. Feels like I’m willingly haemorrhaging money rn but I’m so ready to feel like a hottie on holiday!
I’ve just fixed using tweezers three of my necklaces that were either broken or entangled with one another and I did it all while having possibly the longest nails I’ve ever had in my life.
